Since divorcing her husband several seasons back, LuAnn's romance with Jacques Azoulay has been well-documented. The countess prides herself in class and wouldn't conduct herself in such a derogatory manner. "The last place I would bring a man if I was going to have an affair is to a house full of housewives and cameras," she says.

While aware that the situation and the well-produced show insinuate the potential for a fling, LuAnn denies that anything actually transpired. She tried to avoid such scandalous allegations, but her plan backfired. "The cover-up is worse than the crime," she now admits.

Still happily together, LuAnn's strong relationship with Jacques is a testament to the falsehood of the rumors. It's been hard to see her personal history transpire on the television screen eight months after she lived the events, but the couple has learned to cope with the ramifications.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Monday nights on Bravo.
