Jason Sudeikis Confirms 'SNL' Return
Phew! After remaining uncomfortably mum on the odds he'd be returning to Saturday Night Live following questionable comments he gave to The LA Times, NBC has confirmed (via) that Jason Sudeikis will be returning for the 38th season, kicking off this Sunday with host Seth MacFarlane (watch the first promo below).
Despite saying in August, "I'd like the opportunity to use creative muscles that ... haven't been asked of me for the first nine years that I've worked there," Jason has opted to stick with the show -- a doubly exciting announcement given the fact he's SNL's go-to Mitt Romney.
Joining Sudeikis for the 38th season are three newbies -- Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson and Cecily Strong -- all veterans of the Chicago improv scene. Watch some videos of the trio in action and tune in this Saturday at 11:35 p.m. to the season premiere!
