'Breaking Bad' Star Aaron Paul: Then and Now

While it's only been a few weeks since Breaking Bad's last show of 2012 aired, fans are already anticipating the final episodes of the series. Thankfully, two videos of the show's star Aaron Paul have hit the web that are sure to amuse Jesse Pinkman admirers.
Paul's audition tape for the hit series was leaked this week and shows the young actor struggling to recite lines from what would be the first episode. Dressed in a jean jacket, fingerless gloves and sporting long locks, Paul channels Judd Nelson's character in The Breakfast Club with his '80s-esque style.
The Emmy Award winner, 33, has come a long way since Breaking Bad first premiered in 2008 -- but not that far. The actor's new movie Smashed has him portraying a character much like his drug-addicted TV persona. In the film, Paul plays an alcoholic whose life is challenged when his wife (newcomer Mary Elizabeth Winstead) decides to get sober.
Paul isn't the only Hollywood heavy hitter to star in the flick. The cast also includes Oscar nominee Octavia Spencer and Parks and Recreation stars Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally. Smashed hits theaters Oct. 12.
