'Good Wife' Brings Back A Fan Favorite
Carrie Preston told me at Tuesday night's premiere of The Master that The Good Wife was currently working out a plan to bring back Elsbeth Tascioni and CBS has now confirmed that she'll be back, for a few episodes, during the fourth season.

Elsbeth first appeared at the end of season one and quickly became a fan favorite thanks to her ditzy demeanor, which actually masked one of the shrewdest legal minds the show has ever seen.

Of Elsbeth, Carrie told TheInsider.com, "She is a scatter brained genius. She is someone that I like to think has about four different things going on in her being at once. She has what her mind is doing, she has what her mouth is saying, she has what her body is doing, she has what her heart is doing. And all of those things create this very complicated but eccentric brilliant human being. It's extremely fun to play all those different layers."
The Good Wife returns to CBS on September 30 at 9 p.m.
