Big changes are also coming for Daryl, as AMC recently revealed his long-lost (but not terribly missed) brother Merle will be returning in season three ... albeit with a drastically different look.

Their reunion may not be emotional, or truly desired, according to Norman Reedus. "There's so much conflict there. With a big brother like Merle, you can imagine that Daryl was slapped around a lot and really put down. So to be away from Merle has actually been good for him. And not only that, but to be respected and an integral part of this small community feels good. He would fight for these people with his life," he says.

Although Norman is quick to add, "But based on what happened in season one, Merle will want to get rid of some people in the group, but they're the ones that Daryl would fight for. There's a great story to tell there."
