While fans fell in love with Zoe Hart, George Tucker, Wade Kinsella and the rest of the characters on The CW's charming Hart of Dixie, the most delicious element of the freshman series was the town of Bluebell, where all the action took place.

And in this exclusive sneak peek from the season one DVD, you can see how the crew went about creating the small town feel ... on a Los Angeles soundstage!

And the town's wild events will continue to be a centerpiece for the show in season two, according to creator Leila Gerstein. "In episode two we have Bluebell-A-Palooza, which is a music festival," she tells TheInsider.com, adding that this fall will feature a massive Halloween episode. But the biggest town event will also be a major storyline for the second season as Lavon finds his status as Mayor in question!

"There's a huge mayoral race this season," Scott Porter tells TheInsider.com. "Lavon has always run un-opposed but we bring in a new character, who was Lavon's high school sweetheart. She moved away, became wildly successful, has come back and decided that she wants to take over. She wants to kinda get revenge for things that Lavon didn't do for her. It becomes this really great, classic battle and I think people are gonna really be surprised with where it goes."

There will also be a big battle in the season premiere as George and Wade find out they both made nearly silmultaneous plays for Zoe's heart. "There are fisticuffs in the season premiere -- and they're amazing," Leila tells me. "It's a funny, funny, funny fight. They're smearing cake on each other and I have them rolling around as much as possible, so you can project whatever fantasy you have onto that." But for those worried this spells doom for Gade (or Worge, if you prefer that bromantic couple name), Leila says, "They're boys! They wrestle, have it out and make up in episode 2."

But will the boys continue to fight for Zoe? "In the first episode, Zoe has to make a choice, and she does," Leila says. "But it does not close the door to the triangle because I think if this happened in real life, it wouldn't be cut and dry. Neither guy is exactly right for her, right now – so it's about navigating those right moments. Season two is all about Zoe figuring out what her heart wants. She danced around the choices in season one, but now that everything is out in the open, it's on! There are major things happening in Zoe's heart in season two!"

Hart of Dixie: The Complete First Season hits DVD on October 2 and season two also premieres October 2 at 8 p.m on The CW!
