As Juliette Barnes, the show's facsimile of Taylor Swift, Hayden paints a brave portrait of a strong, self-assured young woman who is heartbreakingly revealed to be a little girl underneath all the pomp and sexual circumstance. The former Heroes star says more with one eyebrow raise than most of her contemporaries are able to with entire soliloquies, making Hayden reason one million and one why Nashville's series premiere is not to be missed.
