Maksim Chmerkovskiy is considered one of the sexiest (and outspoken) pros on Dancing with the Stars, regularly flaunting his toned body and six-pack abs. But Maksim reveals to The Insider's Debbie Matenopoulos his secret weapon for keeping his chiseled physique and coping with the grueling injuries that inevitably happen during the dancing competition.

The 32-year-old DWTS star explains that his remedy for fending off injuries and keeping in shape is cryotherapy -- which involves stepping into a chamber that blasts cold air reaching 250 degrees below zero while standing in the freezing cylinder for about 2 1/2 minutes.

Maksim says the treatments by Dr. Jonas Kuehne at the Cryo Healthcare clinic in Los Angeles really saved him during the last season of Dancing with the Stars. "This is the best for muscle tone, for me personally," he said.  "I swear by this machine. I don't know too much science-wise but I just know what it does for me."

In addition to the anti-inflammatory benefits of cryotherapy, the freezing technology has also helped numerous Hollywood stars lose weight and dramatically improve skin quality, according to Dr. Kuehne.
