'AHS' Makeup Artist Previews 'Asylum'
Many of the visual thrills and chills American Horror Story served up last year were a direct result of Christien Tinsley's work. The Oscar-winning and Emmy-nominated make-up artist not only created Denis O'Hare's burned man, "Dead Violet" and Constance's attic baby, but Tinsley Studio has worked on Brad Pitt, Rachel McAdams, Jason Statham and is currently prepping Spike Lee's Oldboy remake, starring Josh Brolin.
Christien, who also returns for AHS: Asylum, has just released a line of Hollywood-quality, Halloween-targeted at-home effects applications called Tinsley Transfers. I recently sat in Christien's chair to get a first hand look at his newest creation and find out what you can expect from Bloody Face, AHS: Asylum's big bad!
