Coldplay Musician Cast In 'Game of Thrones

HBO's Game of Thrones is garnering quite the jam band. After casting Snow Patrol's lead singer Gary Lightbody for a yet-to-be-revealed part, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the show's highly anticipated third season will also feature Coldplay drummer (and sometimes on guitar) Will Champion.

All EW can say about the musician's role is that he will be playing a drummer.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on March 31, 2013.
