Scott Baio Returns to Old 'Happy Days' Stage
December 28, 2012
Even though the classic TV sitcom Happy Days will always be known as the show that belonged to The Fonz (Henry Winkler), The Insider's Debbie Matenopoulos recently caught up with another star of the show, Scott Baio, who played Fonzie's cousin Chachi.
Baio gives us a tour of the set of his new show -- Nick at Nite's See Dad Run -- and explains how surprising it was to learn that the show shoots on the very same stage as Happy Days. "We came down for the pilot and it was really surreal," he said.

The 52-year-old star also revealed some secrets from the old set, like shooting spitballs and other things at Winkler during scenes. "I would go way up high here in the catwalks. And during the show I would go above the actors and drop juju beans during a scene," he said.
His new acting gig on See Dad Run doesn't seem like much of a stretch for Baio -- since he plays a TV star turned stay-at-home dad. When asked how his onscreen parenting skills differ from those in real life, he said there's not much difference. "Neither one of us have any idea how to parent a child," he joked. "We have a girl who's five years old, and man, some days I don't know which end is up."
